Members of the Penn chapter of American Association of University Professors gathered in front of College Hall to protest for academic freedom. Over 100 Penn affiliates gathered Monday afternoon, emphasizing the importance of protecting the freedom of discourse, teaching, research, and publication.
The Daily Pennsylvanian staffers covered the event, capturing the speakers as they criticized outside influences and private interests on the University and chanted “Let us teach.”
