The Daily Pennsylvanian, Inc. was recently made aware of a video involving two Penn students making racist comments. One of the students in the video was a member of a DP Business department; they had a brief tenure that began in September 2025. This individual does not represent the values of our organization. After an internal review, the staffer has been removed from the company, effective immediately.
The DP unequivocally condemns hate speech. Our company policy has zero tolerance for this conduct, and such remarks are not representative of our values of respect, dignity, and empathy. The DP has long been committed to fostering a collaborative and welcoming environment for Penn students, and we will continue to uphold these values in every aspect of our organization.
