Assault:

April 18: At 2:06 a.m., a suspect who was a patient at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania threw a cup of ice and juice at the doctor after being refused pain medication.

April 22: Domestic, confidential.

Sex Offense:

April 16: At 11:46 a.m., an affiliated 33-year-old man was charged with possession of child pornography.

Other Offense:

April 19: Confidential.

Public Urination:

April 19: At 2:47 a.m., an unaffiliated 22-year-old man was cited for public urination on 4001 Walnut St.

April 19: At 1:25 a.m., an unaffiliated 19-year-old man was observed urinating on a highway and cited on the 200 block of South 41st Street.

April 19: At 1:10 a.m., an affiliated 19-year-old man was observed urinating on a highway and cited on the 200 block of South 41st Street.

Narcotic:

April 17: At 10:27 p.m., an affiliated 23-year-old man was stopped after refusing to leave a private area. Upon being detailed, he was found to be carrying narcotics and was arrested.

Liquor Laws:

April 17: At 2:42 a.m., a suspect was cited for refusing to leave a location at 4035 Pine St. upon request. The suspect was yelling, causing a crowd to gather.

April 17: At 2:42 a.m., a suspect was cited after refusing to leave a location when requested. The affiliated 20-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking.

April 18: At 10:27 p.m., an unaffiliated 19-year-old man was cited after cursing and yelling and causing a crowd to gather on the 3400 block of Walnut Street. The man was cited for underage drinking.

April 22: At 5:17 p.m., the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited an affiliated 20-year-old man on 41st and Spruce streets for underage possession of alcohol.

April 22: At 4:10 p.m., the BLCE cited an affiliated 18-year-old man at 41st and Spruce streets for underage possession of alcohol.

Drunkenness:

April 18: At 11:04 p.m., an unaffiliated 24-year-old man was issued a citation on 40th and Walnut streets for public drunkenness. The suspect smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, and was observed punching a vehicle. When police investigated, the suspect became combative.

DUI:

April 18: At 2:48 a.m., an unaffiliated 22-year-old man was stopped on the 3600 block of Chestnut Street and was found to have difficulty standing up and speaking coherently. The suspect was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

April 18: At 10:23 p.m., an unaffiliated 37-year-old was observed to be driving in the wrong lane on the 3300 block of Chestnut Street. He appeared visibly drunk and was arrested.

Robbery:

April 21: At 9:35 a.m., an affiliated 21-year-old woman reported being approached on the 3900 block of Locust Walk by a suspect who asked her for money. The suspect, an unaffiliated 44-year-old man then grabbed her shoulder and pulled her toward him. After being yelled at by a bystander, the suspect let the woman go and he was later arrested by Penn Police. An affiliated 23-year-old woman identified herself as a witness.

April 22: At 3:41 a.m., an unaffiliated 20-year-old woman reported that she was approached by an unaffiliated 56-year-old man while waiting for a bus on 40th and Market streets. The man told her to let go of the bike. The man indicated he had a weapon and then demanded the bike again. After the woman yelled, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was arrested near the location of the incident.
