Teach for America has been under scrutiny from insiders and outsiders for a number of years. In a feature article on Vox, Dana Goldstein describes new measures the organization is taking to respond to the debate.
"In response to many of the arguments against Teach for America — that it is white and elitist, short on pedagogical seriousness, and disdainful of career educators — the organization, under new leadership for the first time in its history, was considering a significant policy change," the article states.
An article about the Teach for America Truth Tour published in The Daily Pennsylvanian in March of this year stated that Teach for America is one of the top three employers of recent Penn graduates.
