March 5 — A 22-year-old male student reported that he was struck by several suspects on the 300 block of S. 40th Street at about 1 a.m.
Vandalism
March 9 — James Ball, 27, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Phillip Tresner, 27, of Baltimore, both unaffiliated with the University, were arrested for allegedly breaking windows of vehicles on the 4000 block of Walnut Street at about 3 p.m.
March 9 — A rock was reportedly thrown through a window of a building on the 3900 block of Irving Street at about noon.
March 9 — A brick was reportedly thrown through a window of a building on the 3600 block of Locust Walk at about 6:15 a.m.
Trespassing
March 9 — Nettay Bouknight, 30, unaffiliated with the University and of the 500 block of N. 55th Street, was arrested for trespassing at Houston Hall at about 12:45 p.m.
March 4 — Christopher Melo, 25, unaffiliated with the University and of the 3000 block of Hecktown Road, was arrested for trespassing at Huntsman Hall at about 12:15 p.m.
Theft
March 9 — Michael Lyle, 46, unaffiliated with the University and of the 1200 block of Race Street, was arrested for allegedly taking items from the Penn Bookstore without rendering payment at about 3:30 p.m.
March 9 — Jennifer Walkins, 22, unaffiliated with the University and of 1200 Arrott St., was arrested for allegedly taking items from Urban Outfitters at 110 S. 36th St. without rendering payment at about 2:30 p.m.
March 7 — A male student, 23, reported that an unknown suspect entered his secured vehicle and removed a GPS device left in plain view on the 4100 block of Spruce Street at about 4:45 p.m.
March 7 — Donna Sommer, 46, unaffiliated with the University and of the 1300 block of Arrott Street, was arrested for alledgedly taking items from Fresh Grocer at 4001 Walnut St. without rendering payment at about 2:15 p.m.
March 6 — A 35-year-old female unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect removed her unattended backpack at the Rotunda at about 10:30 p.m.
March 6 — An unknown suspect was reported to have removed items from Wawa at 3744 Spruce St. without rendering payment at about 8:15 p.m.
March 5 — A male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect removed his unattended phone at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at about 10:45 p.m.
March 5 — A 22-year-old female student reported that an unknown suspect removed her secured bicycle by lifting it over a parking meter pole on the unit block of S. 39th Street at about 8:45 p.m.
March 4 — A 30-year-old female employee of St. Leonard’s Court reported that an unknown suspect removed items from her unattended purse at about 2 p.m.
