Burglary

Feb. 2 — An unspecified amount of cash was reported taken at about 6:30 p.m. from a safe at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Sex Offense

Feb. 1 — A person was assaulted on the 4000 block of Pine Street at about 4:30 p.m.

Theft

Feb. 2 — Earline Byers, 39, unaffiliated with the University and of the 5100 block of Whitby Avenue, was arrested at about 2:45 a.m. for allegedly taking an unattended coat at Smokey Joe’s, at 210 S. 40th St.

Feb. 2 — An unknown suspect was reported at about 1:30 p.m. to have taken merchandise without paying at Eastern Mountain Sports, at 3401 Chestnut St.

Feb. 1 — A female employee of Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, 44, reported that an unknown suspect entered her unsecured desk and removed an unspecified amount of cash at about 12:15 p.m.

Jan. 31 — A 53 year-old man unaffiliated with the University reported that someone took his unattended laptop at Fresh Grocer at about 11:15 a.m.

Jan. 31 — A female student, 19, reported at about 3:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect took her unattended coat from the 3900 block of Sansom Street.

Jan. 31 — James Hullman, 36, of the 3500 block of Tulip Street and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at about 1:45 p.m. for allegedly taking merchandise without paying from Campus Copy Center, located at 3907 Walnut St.

Jan. 31 — A male student, 17, student reported at about 11:45 am. that someone took his unattended gym bag from Allegro Pizza, at 3942 Spruce St.

Jan. 30 — A female student, 42, reported at about 6:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect took her cell phone from her possession on the 4200 block of Osage Avenue.

Jan. 29 — An iron gate was reported taken from the 3900 block of Spruce Street by an unknown suspect at about 1:15 p.m.

Jan. 29 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 24, reported at about 10:15 p.m. that someone entered her secured vehicle and removed her GPS device left in plain view on the 4100 block of Spruce Street.

Jan. 29 — Jason Falcon, 24, of the Unit block of S. 43rd Street and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at about 1:15 p.m. for allegedly taking property left in plain view from a 39-year-old woman’s secured vehicle on the 4200 block of Osage Avenue.

Jan. 28 — A female student, 23, reported at 1:45 a.m. that an unknown suspect took her unattended purse from Drinker’s West, at 3900 Chestnut St.

Jan. 28 — Someone was reported at about 10:30 p.m. to have taken merchandise from Penn Computer Connection without paying.

Jan. 28 — Unknown suspects were reported at about 7:45 p.m. to have taken merchandise from Urban Outfitters, at 36th and Sansom streets, without paying.

Jan. 27 — Rober Colde, 63, of the 400 block of N. Salford Street and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at about 1 p.m. for allegedly removing merchandise from Fresh Grocer without rendering payment.
