Education: Onorato, lifelong Pennsylvanian, completed his undergraduate degree in accounting from Penn State University and attended the Univeristy of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Job experience: After graduating, he worked as an attorney in the private sector until he was elected to the Pittsburgh City Council. He then became the Executive of Allegheny County.
Endorsements: Onorato has received endorsements from newspapers including The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News. PennEnviornment, a statewide citizen-based advocacy organization, has endorsed Onorato. At a recent rally, former President Bill Clinton publicly endorsed Onorato.
