Burglary

Oct. 27 — A male student, 22, reported at about 5:30 a.m. that an unknown suspect entered and removed property from his unsecured residence on the 3800 block of Locust Walk.

Oct. 25 — A woman unaffiliated with the University, 51, reported at about 10:15 a.m. that someone entered her unsecured residence on the 200 block of S. 39th Street and removed property.

Fraud

Oct. 26 — Maurice Edwards, 20, unaffiliated with the University and of the 5500 block of W. Oxford Street, was arrested at about 2:15 p.m. for allegedly entering AT&T;, located at 3741 Walnut St., and fraudulently removing two phones.

Oct. 26 — A female student, 23, reported at about 3:15 p.m. that an unknown suspect made fraudulent purchases with her credit card.

Harassment

Oct. 26 — At about noon, a known suspect was reported to have made unwanted phone calls.

Vandalism

Oct. 24 — A man unaffiliated with the University, 21, reported at about 11:30 a.m. that someone damaged the exterior of his vehicle on the 3900 block of Baltimore Avenue.

Theft

Oct. 29 — Two boys, 14 and 15, were arrested at 9:15 a.m. for allegedly taking the bicycle of a male student, 21, on the 4000 block of Walnut Street.

Oct. 29 — Casey Brunson, 39, unaffiliated with the University and of the 4100 block of Haverford Avenue, was arrested at approximately 11 a.m. for allegedly removing merchandise from CVS, located at 3401 Walnut St., without paying.

Oct. 29 — A female student, 19, reported at about 4:30 p.m. that someone removed her personal property from an unsecured locker in the Chemistry Building.

Oct. 29 — Wilfredo Gomez, 41, unaffiliated with the University and of the 400 block of Hall Avenue in Perth Amboy, N.J., was arrested at about 6:15 p.m. for allegedly removing merchandise from the Penn Bookstore, located at 3601 Walnut St., without paying.

Oct. 27 — A University employee, 86, reported at approximately 7 p.m. that unknown suspects removed property from his residence on the 200 block of S. 42nd Street.

Oct. 26 — A male student, 21, reported at about 7 p.m. that someone removed a GPS device from his secured vehicle on the 4100 block of Spruce Street.

Oct. 26 — A male University employee reported at about 7:30 p.m. that someone removed property from his locker at Presbyterian Hospital.

Oct. 26 — A male student, 45, reported at about 8:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed his bicycle, secured with a cable lock, from Williams Hall.

Oct. 24 — A male University employee, 20, reported at about 7:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed his property from an unsecured locker at Pottruck Gym.

Oct. 23 ­— At approximately 3:30 p.m., an unknown suspect was reported to have left the Natural Shoe Store, located at 226 S. 40th St., without paying for merchandise.

Oct. 23 — A female University employee, 55, reported at about 5:45 p.m. that someone took her unattended purse at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

Oct. 23 — A female student, 18, reported at about 4 p.m. that an unknown suspect took her unattended jacket and phone at Van Pelt Library.

Recovered Items

The below items were found by Penn Police in the last two weeks at various locations and are currently being held for safekeeping at Police headquarters, located at 4040 Chestnut St. If you have any information on this property please call Detective Pete Black at 215-898-4485.

Vulo sport bike, found on the 300 block of S. St. Marks Square.
