Penn's Lubavitch House, along with Drexel University's Hillel program, will sponsor a memorial for Virginia Tech professor Liviu Librescu on April 26.
Librescu, 76, was killed last Monday, April 16, during a shooting rampage on Virginia Tech's campus that left 33 dead and 24 wounded.
Librescu was also a Holocaust survivor.
Penn Law professor Harry Reicher, also a member of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, will give a short lecture at the memorial entitled "Discrimination, Ostracism, Dehumanization: The Nazis' Legislative Assault on the Jews."
The event will take place at the Alpha Epsilon Pi House at 204 N 34th St.
