News Brief: Gutmann aide gets married over weekend

Leah Popowich, associate director at the Office of the University President, was married Saturday night to Penn alumnus Andrew Hohns, The New York Times reported yesterday.

Popowich is the main contact between students and the president's office, on call 24 hours a day for 'DP' reporters' incessant questions.

No stranger to the University, Popowich graduated from Penn in 2000 with a bachelor of arts in Communication and a minor in Film Studies. She later earned a master's degrees in government from the Fels Institute of Government and started the Executive MGA Program in 2003.

The couple was married at the Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellvue, and the ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Fred Kazan.

The 'DP' wishes a warm congratulations to the happy couple.
