SEPTA strike over after one week

Union, agency reach agreement; subways, buses resume routes

The strike which shut down SEPTA's subways, trolleys and bus services came to an end today - one week after it began. The routes were running again by mid-afternoon after SEPTA and Transport Workers Union Local 234 reached an agreement on pay and benefits for 5,000 employees. Check out full details of the agreement and the resumption of service in tomorrow's DP.
