Sports Brief: M. Tennis has great success at Princeton Invite

In his first tournament since transferring to Penn from Vanderbilt, sophomore Jason Pinsky won the open bracket of the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational this weekend.

The native of Potomac, Md., was not the only Quakers player to have success on the weekend.

In fact, he beat teammate Mikhail Bekker in the finals of his draw in three sets, 2-6, 7-6, 6-3.

In the "B" flight, sophomore Joseph Lok beat doubles partner Jimmy Fairbanks in three sets, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2.

The duo lost in the "B" finals to Yale's Jeff Dawson and Josh Lederman.

Top-seeded Bekker and Pinsky lost in the second round of the open draw.
