Penn holds 4th spot in 'U.S. News' rankings

The University has grabbed the number four ranking for the second consecutive year in the the U.S. News and World Report 2006 rankings.

Harvard and Princeton universities tied for the number one ranking, followed by Yale University in the "National Universities" category.

This is the third time in four years that the University has been ranked fourth, and the second time it held the position alone.

The rankings were released today as part of the magazine's upcoming issue.
