Robbery
June 5 -- A 24-year-old Deleware County resident was robbed at gunpoint after exiting a cab at 40th Street and Baltimore Avenue at approximately 3:00 Sunday morning. The driver of a silver vehicle stopped his car at the intersection and made off with $25. The victim sustained no injuries.
Burglary
June 3 -- Between 5:00 p.m. last Wednesday and 7:00 a.m. last Thursday, a Dell Latitude laptop valued at $2000 was removed from a locked office area at the Presbyterian Hostpital. Signs of force were visible.
Drugs
June 3 -- Aquillah Abdul-Rashad, a 23-year-old West Philadelphia resident, was taken to detectives after police stopped her for a traffic violation and found -- in plain view -- 35 bags of a substance later determined to be marijuana .
Theft
June 6 -- $1000 cash was removed from an unlocked desk area between 6:00 p.m. Friday and 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Presbyterian Hospital at 39th and Market streets.
June 6 -- Lynel Moore ? a 45-year-old North Philadelphia resident ? has been accused of stealing $235 worth of Slim Jims, Hershey's chocolate and Starburst candies from the Wawa at 36th and Chestnut streets.
June 5 -- 35-year-old Overbrook resident Eric Puroy allegedly stole $45 worth of assorted goods from the CVS Pharmacy on the 3900 block of Walnut Street.
June 5 -- A 21-year-old graduate student reported that an Apple iBook was removed from her apartment on the 4000 block of Spruce Street. There was no sign of forced entry.
June 4 -- While dining at the New Deck Tavern on the 3400 block of Sansom Street, a 24-year-old Trapp, PA woman reports that $90 worth of valuables were removed from her purse which was hanging over the back of her chair.
June 3 -- Two unknown persons were seen wheeling a trash barrell containing an industrial-sized microwave valued at $595 out of the Presbyterian Hospital.
June 2 -- A Dell computer monitor and keyboard valued at $3000 were stolen from an unlocked office area at the Presbyterian Hospital.
June 2 -- A Marlton, N.J., resident reported that his $500 Olympus digital camera was tolen from his locked 1998 Ford Expedition parked at the Penn Tower Hotel at 34th and Spruce streets.
June 1 -- Between May 17 and June 1 the 1997 two-door black Pontiac Grand Am of a 25-year-old graduate student was stolen while parked at 41st and Chestnut streets.
