A large amount of smoke caused Penn Police and the Philadelphia Fire Department to respond to the Athletic Ticket Office last night around 6 p.m.
Multiple fire trucks responded to the incident on 34th Street between Walnut and Spruce streets.
According to Penn Police, Fire Department officials believe the cause was related to the lighting in the office -- they suspected the source of the smoke was a fluorescent light ballast.
"There was a large amount of smoke in where the ticket office" is, officer Tim Riley of the Penn Police Department said. "There was no fire."
At the time of the incident, no other problems were reported in the office.
