Chowder v. cheese steaks

The Las Vegas line has the Patriots favored by seven, but apparently no over-under on lobsters or cheesesteaks has as yet been set.

Matt Smith, the Director of Operations for Penn Dining Services, has entered into a friendly wager with his counterpart at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Should the Eagles upset the defending champion Patriots, traditional New England fair will be on the menu at both schools.

According to Kate Moran, the Aramark Communications Manager at Penn, "some lucky diners" may be served lobsters, clam chowder, baked beans, brown bread and Boston cream pie.

UMass Executive Chef Willie Sng will also have to put on an Eagles t-shirt and hat and have his picture taken while preparing the food.

If the Patriots win their third Super Bowl in four years, though, Penn will be sending Philly cheese steaks, pork roll, scrapple, soft pretzels and Tastykakes north to the Amherst campus.
