Theft

n Jan. 17 -- A female unaffiliated with the University was arrested at approximately 8 p.m. at Urban Outfitters, located at 110 S. 36th St., for allegedly stealing three small change purses, valued at $42.

n Jan 16 -- An female affiliated with the University was arrested at approximately 5:45 p.m. at Urban Outfitters for allegedly taking a wallet, valued at $16, from the store.

n Jan 16 -- A male non-student affiliated with the University was arrested at approximately 9 p.m. at the Penn Bookstore, located at 3601 Walnut St., for allegedly taking books and other merchandise valued at $83.10.

n Jan 14 -- A man unaffiliated with the University was arrested at approximately 9:30 p.m. for allegedly stealing $98 worth of merchandise at the Penn Bookstore.

n Jan 13 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that her laptop was stolen from room 379 of Presbyterian Hospital, located at 51 N. 39th St. The laptop, valued at $1000, was taken between approximately 6:45 p.m. Jan. 12 and approximately 6:50 a.m. Jan. 13, according to the complainant.

Fraud

n Jan. 15 -- A man unaffiliated with the University was arrested at approximately 6 p.m. at 40th and Market Streets for possession of counterfeit DVDs valued at $250. The Motion Picture Association of America was the complainant.

Assault

n Jan. 15 -- A male student reported that two unknown men pushed, kicked, and punched him at his fraternity house in the early morning hours. The males may have been asked to leave earlier that night.
