Theft
Nov. 30 -- A male student reported that between Nov. 23 and Nov. 30, a check made out for $600 was taken from his dorm room in Hill College House, located at 3333 Walnut St. The check, which was left in a bag in the student's room over Thanksgiving break, was not endorsed.
Nov. 29 -- A male student reported that between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., his secured bike valued at $100 was taken from outside the Towne Building, located at 220 S. 33rd St.
Nov. 29 -- A male student reported that between Nov. 24 and Nov. 29, his secured orange Mongoose bike, valued at $150, was stolen from in front of Harrison College House, located at 3910 Irving St.
Burglary
Nov. 30 -- At approximately 4:10 a.m., Eve Ford, a woman unaffiliated with the University, allegedly forced open the locked door of 4222 Chestnut St. She was caught inside and arrested by the Philadelphia Police.
Nov. 30 -- At approximately 6 p.m., Derek Pinkins, a 42-year-old man unaffiliated with the University, was arrested for attempting to rob a locker room in Weightman Hall, located at 235 S. 33rd St. Police said Pinkins had forced his way into the locked locker room and, according to a person on site, tampered with items in the room. Pinkins has an extensive crime history.
