Former Florida Gator backup quarterback Ingle Martin has decided to transfer to Furman, choosing the South Carolina school over Penn.

"It came down to the University of Pennsylvania and Furman," Martin told The Tennessean. "Obviously, Pennsylvania had the great academic reputation and they've won three of the last four Ivy League championships. I felt like I couldn't go wrong with either of the opportunities."

Martin decided to transfer from Florida after losing his starting job to freshman Chris Leak.
