One examples is the crackdown on fraternities a few years ago. Distressed brothers hung banners from their houses, stating "Why pay the bucks when the social life sucks?" Student leaders who organized protests against the draft judicial charter last spring should be proud of their efforts -- and of the version of the charter and the code of academic integrity that were voted into effect this summer. When members of the undergraduate community feel strongly about something, and when they unite to make their collective voice heard, things can change. Here's hoping the activist spirit makes another appearance on campus this semester.
