At 6-foot-5, 210 pounds, Koller averaged 20 points complimented by six rebounds per game for the Grey Bull High School team. John Koller, Mike's father, played on the Penn hoops squad until his graduation in 1971, but was only a minimal contributor. Described as similar to former basketball player Nat Graham, Mike Koller uses his size as a physical threat on the court. Opinions of Koller's long-range impact differs, however. Head coach Fran Dunphy feels that Koller will minimally impact the team throughout his collegiate career, but Assistant Coach Gil Jackson believes he will be a serious threat come his junior season. -- Scott Miller
