With 310 victories as Penn men's basketball coach, Fran Dunphy knew the taste of victory in the Palestra. But two years ago, in his first opportunity to savor success as a visiting head coach, Dunphy and his current team - Big 5 rival Temple -- blew an early 19-point lead and lost to Penn, 76-74, on a trio of Mark Zoller free throws with 1.

For four days in 1978, Penn students held a sit-in at College Hall. Unauthorized signs: use less toilet paper

Penn seems to have acquired a vigilante environmental group. In the past few weeks, stickers appeared on the toilet paper caddies in Huntsman Hall bathrooms requesting that students avoid taking an extra sheet of toilet paper. The stickers read, "Green Policy in Effect: Do you really need that extra sheet?" An image of an angry toilet paper roll and a crossed-out hand are also on the sticker.

Five years and nearly 35,000 lawsuits later, the Recording Industry Association of America is stopping its legal war against individuals for file-sharing activities. The announcement comes as a relief for many students who worried about facing fines; however, the University has not yet determined how it will affect its policies, if at all.

Yoga, yogurt relieve finals stress

Feeling stressed over finals? Try yoga. The Penn Women's Center touted this method at a Free-Yoga-Free-Yogurt event this past Saturday. During the event, nutrition counselor, massage therapist and yoga instructor Jillian Bird took students' minds off life's daily stresses by teaching basic yoga moves.

Inauguration tickets are on every political junkie's holiday wish list this year. Up 14 at halftime against Lafayette, Penn could have turned in a poor second half like it did against Campbell last week. Instead, the Quakers got a trio of threes to start the half, as Tyler Bernardini, Zack Rosen and Rob Belacore drained deep balls on three successive possessions to key Penn's 9-2 to start the second frame.

M. Squash bruised but not battered

After getting knocked down by a better team, it's good to have an inferior one to bounce back against. That was how the men's squash team felt, as it rebounded from an 8-1 thrashing at the hands of No. 3 Yale to dominate No. 14 Brown by the same score. "It's refreshing to be able to go from a bad performance to a pretty good performance," junior Mark Froot said.
