Last night, Guardsmark professor in the Department of Legal Studies and Business Ethics Eric W. Orts tackled this issue at an event by the Penn Undergraduate Law Journal. In his presentation entitled “The Future of Corporate Personhood in American Law,” Orts examined theories of the firm, its legal foundations and Supreme Court cases involving Citizens United and Hobby Lobby.

College junior Sanibel Chai and her co-founder and high school friend Liz Lian are launching their company WICK to create party wear for women made from the same moisture-wicking fabrics of yoga clothes. While WICK is still waiting for their first batch of fabric to be delivered, interested buyers can sign up on their website to be in the know when WICK’s clothing becomes available.

On March 11, Penn women's basketball upset four-time defending champion Princeton to win the Ivy title. The team finished the regular season 22-6 and 12-2 in Ivy play, clinching an NCAA bid. It was the Quakers third Ivy championship and their first in 10 year.

After falling to Princeton in last year’s season finale, Pennwas “a team to look out for” in the Ivy League. And a year later, the Quakers are looking to be that team to look out for once again, but this time on the national stage, taking on Texas this Sunday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
