With one week left before the Ivy League Championships, the Quakers head to Annapolis, Md. for their last tune-up tournament.

The women’s team headed to Suffern, N.Y. to take part in the Roar-EE Invitational, finishing fifth out of 10 teams. The men had the same finish out of 14 teams at the Princeton Invitational.

The men are coming off a sixth-place finish at the Yale Invitational. Seniors P.J. Fielding and Max Marsico tied for 10th place overall, but it wasn’t enough for the team to win. This weekend, the Quakers look to get a top five finish for the first time this semester.

The Penn men’s golf team heads into the homestretch of its schedule as spring descends upon the Northeast.

The men’s golf team returned to action at the 16th annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate in Aiken, S.C. and the Quakers finished 11th out of a field of 18 teams.

The Penn women took first at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic, while the Penn men placed fifth at the Ivy League Match Play.

The Quakers won the Rehoboth Beach Invitational, finishing first in an 11-team field after coming in third in last year’s tournament.

The Penn athletic department announced Thursday that Bob Heintz has been hired as the new head coach, replacing Scott Allen, who held the position since 2008.

Golf has been in the Williams family since Jim Williams played at USC. Today, Scotty is the captain of the men’s team and Kelsey is a freshman on the women’s team. The oldest, Bryant was captain of the 2009-10 men’s squad.

Penn men’s golf team tied for sixth out of 13 teams at the 54-hole Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club over the weekend. The Quakers finished 16 shots behind first-place Yale, which carded an 858.

The Penn women’s golf team finished third in the Brown Invitational on Monday.

Marsico has been the low scorer for Penn in 11 of 18 tournaments since his arrival, and he currently boasts a 71.2 stroke average, the team’s lowest.

The men’s golf team missed out on a chance to repeat as champions in the Quaker Invitational, falling to IUPUI, 613-614.

In its second tournament of the spring season, the Penn men’s golf team successfully defended its team title at the George Washington Invitational.

This weekend, Penn women’s golf closed out its fall season with an exciting win over Ivy competition at the Boston Golf Club.
