The Penn Wrestling team transitioned seamlessly from wrestling in tournaments to wrestling in duals, defeating Rider, 23-18, in their first dual meet of the season.





Frosh help flip the script

Penn has lost the last three dual meets against the Columbia Lions. On Friday, however, that dual meet losing streak ended for the Red and Blue with a victory at Sheerr Pool.

Winter break is the most wonderful time of the year — except if you’re a swimmer or a wrestler, who undergo the most rigorous portion of their training over break.




Penn takes talents down South

The Penn men's basketball team will play three road games over winter break — against Delaware Dec. 22, at Marist Dec. 29 and a final one, at Rupp Arena.

President Obama recently agreed to extend income tax cuts for all American citizens, as opposed to his former stance to extend benefits for all but the wealthiest two percent of Americans. The compromise — which will be presented to the Senate Monday — includes a plan for tuition spending as well.
