Tuesday, Penn Athletic Director Steve Bilsky gave a vote of confidence to coach Jerome Allen despite the fact that the Quakers could still end up with their worst record in the Ivy League era, since Penn is now 2-13 on the season.

Junior Alex Ott joins the DP Sports staff after two seasons of varsity baseball at Penn. Despite notching 17 appearances as a freshman (the fifth highest single-season total in school history), Ott chose to walk away from the sport with great reluctance and a greater story.

Founded in 2009 as a relatively small group, Penn Shooting Club has seen its membership increase dramatically over a nearly four-year span. Today, the organization has about 600 students on its email listserv — and it’s continuing to grow.



	Junior Justin Ang, who originally hails from Singapore, is currently Penn’s only international men’s squash player.

The Quakers have an overall record of 3-4 so far this season, coming off of two decisive losses to No. 3 Harvard and No. 8 Dartmouth. What’s missing? One answer could be international players, who in recent years have been the key to winning titles for most successful squash programs.
