On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Daily News reported that former Penn President Judith Rodin may become "collateral damage" in a federal investigation of a longtime personal aide to 2016 Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton.

According to the article, the investigation suggests that Clinton aide and Vice Chairwoman for Clinton's 2016 Presidential race Huma Abedin leveraged her position at the State Department to grant Rodin a White House appointment. 

In December 2010, President Obama appointed Rodin to the White House Council for Community Solutions, where she still serves as a member.
