Swastikas were found painted at a Jewish fraternity house at Vanderbilt University on Saturday. 

Following the discovery of the spray-painted swastikas, Provost Susan R. Wente sent students and email in which she expressed her disapproval of the symbols as being "associated with hate, anti-Semitism, violence, death and murder."

The university has launched an investigation of the hate crime.
