Jessie J to headline Yale Spring Fling concert

Bang bang into New Haven, you know Yale wants it.

The Yale College Council announced Thursday that Jessie J, the singer known for hits like "Bang Bang," will be headlining Yale's Spring Fling concert this year. According to the Yale Daily News, this is the first time in 17 years that Yale's Spring Fling will be headlined by a female artist.

The concert will be opened by Indie band St. Lucia and closed by house music producer Klingande while Jessie J will perform in the middle. The concert, like Penn's Spring Fling, will take place in April.

The Social Planning and Events Committee, or SPEC, is expected to announce Penn's acts for Spring Fling shortly after break with likely only two acts for this year's concert. Last year, Penn had Magic Man, Ra Ra Riot and David Guetta for fling.
