Drunkenness

Nov. 27, 2013: A 21-year-old unaffiliated male was interfering with a police investigation at Cavanaugh’s at 119 S. 39th St. at 1:50 a.m. and was advised to leave the area. He was intoxicated and refused to leave. He was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Burglary

Nov. 28, 2013: ?A 21-year-old unaffiliated male and a 21-year-old unaffiliated female reported the back door broken open of 231 41st St. at 1:40 a.m. Police responded to the scene and found the residence empty, with vandalism in the interior of the building. It was not determined if anything was missing from the residency.

Dec. 2, 2013: An 18-year-old affiliated male reported at 9 a.m. that personal items were removed from his college house room at 3600 Spruce St. while he was away on holiday break.

Dec. 2, 2013: A 19-year-old affiliated female reported at 5 p.m. that personal items were removed from her college house room at 3700 Spruce St. while she was away on holiday break.

Dec. 2, 2013: An 18-year-old affiliated female reported at 5:50 p.m. that personal items were removed from her college house room at 3600 Spruce St. while she was away on holiday break.

Dec. 3, 2013: An 18-year-old affiliated male reported at 4:30 p.m. that personal items were removed from his college house room at 3700 Spruce Street while he was away on holiday break.

Robbery

Nov. 29, 2013: At 1:30 p.m., a 25-year-old affiliated male reported that a man approached him asking for five dollars on the 4200 block of Spruce Street. When the affiliated male did not the man money, the man produced what appeared to be a knife, so he gave the man his cell phone.

Auto Theft

Nov. 29, 2013: At 10:15 a.m., a 43-year-old unaffiliated female?reported at 10:20 a.m. that her vehicle was stolen from the 3800 block of Powelton Avenue. The vehicle contained tracking devices and was recovered.

Vandalism

Nov. 30, 2013: A 23-year-old unaffiliated male returned to his parked car on the 3900 block of Filbert Street at 6 p.m. and found the passenger window shattered. No contents of the vehicle were missing.

Dec. 1, 2013: A 59-year-old unaffiliated male returned to his parked car on the 3700 block of Ludlow Street at 11:50 a.m. and found the window near the driver’s seat broken. No contents of the vehicle were missing.

Disorderly Conduct

Dec. 2, 2013: A 40-year-old unaffiliated male began screaming inside the Presbyterian Hospital (51 N. 39th St.) at 8:20 a.m. and refused to leave. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

Dec. 4, 2013: A 46-year old unaffiliated male caused a disturbance inside Beijing Restaurant at 3714 Spruce St. at 1:10 p.m. He became loud when asked to leave, causing a crowd to gather. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

Other Offense

Dec. 3, 2013: A 30-year-old unaffiliated male was loitering on the 4000 block of Market Street at 4:20 p.m. and was found conducting hand to hand sales of loose cigarettes. He received a citation.
