My name is Lisa Xu (pronounced “lease a shoe”). I’m running for Class Board because I believe in class unity and the impact of student government. I’m running for Vice President of External Affairs in particular because I have had success soliciting sponsorship from corporations, restaurants, and other businesses as Vice President of Corporate Sponsorship for Wharton Business Law Association. I have also had student government experience from serving on the Undergraduate Assembly as Wharton Representative for the past year. As VP External, I will focus on three primary goals: increased business partnerships for giveaways, greater transparency through more open communication between Class Board and the class, and community outreach. If you elect me, my priority will be to serve you. I will talk and listen to you, and more importantly, I will incorporate your ideas. Thanks you and remember: there’s nothing Xu can’t do for you!
