If I am elected to the position of Undergraduate Assembly Member, my main focus will be to bring about substantial changes to the hours in which certain dining halls within this university operate. I know this issue is close to heart not only for me, but for many of my freshman classmates, of which the overwhelming majority rely on Penn Dining for three squares a day. The way I see it: no one should be forced, because of early closing times at dining halls, to spend out-of-pocket for resources that they could otherwise attain through more cost-effective means. Yet, this is only one of many issues that confront our university. As UA member, my focus will expand beyond what I can express here; as a member my door…my life will always be open to YOU, so that I may best communicate what it is you seek from your student government.
