Men's basketball fell, 88-73, to defending champion Cornell at the Palestra Saturday night.
In a surprising move, Glen Miller went with a completely new starting lineup: Harrison Gaines, Kevin Egee, Rob Belcore, Justin Reilly, and Conor Turley. The new-look Quakers jumped out to an 11-5 lead behind five quick points by Belcore. Later in the half, Cornell's Ryan Wittman hoisted a three that dropped to give the Big Red back the lead, 23-21, and sparked a run that left the score 44-29 Cornell at the break.
In the second frame, the Quakers came out deflated and did not have a comeback in them. They are now 1-3 in the Ivy League after losing to Columbia Friday. For full game coverage, check out Andrew Todres' live blog on The Buzz.
