The Penn men soccer team's undefeated run came to an end to night, as the Quakers lost to Lehigh, 2-1, on a golden goal in the 109th minute.
The Mountain Hawks struck first off a corner five minutes before halftime. In the second, the Quakers came out gunning, with Omid Shokofandeh burying a cross in the 50th minute to even it up. That where things stayed throughout regulation and the first overtime.
The frost set in late in the game, causing some defensive gaps in the back. Drew Healy and the back four battled against the slippery turf, but in the end, a blast off the left post from Lehigh's Kyle Evans sealed it.
The Quakers close their non-conference schedule at 6-1-3 and host Columbia this weekend at Rhodes Field for their second Ancient Eight match of the year.
