Football picked to win Ivy title

Penn narrowly tops Harvard in preseason media poll

For the third straight season, Penn has been declared the preseason favorite to capture the Ivy League football title.

The Quakers received 120 points in the Ivy League Football Media Poll, narrowly beating Harvard, which received 119 points.

Last season, Harvard also finished a close second to Penn in the preseason poll, yet went on to win the Ivy title.

Harvard and Penn each received eight first-place votes in this year's poll.
