Junior midfielder Lea Salese was named Philadelphia City 6 Most Valuable Player yesterday. This marks the second consecutive year that a Penn player has earned the award -- senior forward Liz Lorelli received the honor last season.
Salese was third on the Quakers in scoring this season with five goals and two assists.
Joining her on the all-Philadelphia team are Lorelli, sophomore goalkeeper Elizabeth Schlossberg, and freshman midfielder Melissa Black.
Salese was also named the first-team All-Ivy and All-Mid-Atlantic squads this year.
Penn finished 13-4 overall.
