Robbery
*Sept. 30 -- A woman unaffiliated with the University reported that as she was getting off a trolley at the SEPTA station at 40th Street and Baltimore Avenue shortly before midnight, she was approached by an African-American man who took her purse. The purse allegedly contained personal items and $40. The alleged assailant was described as 30 years old, approximately 6'4", of dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black boots and a black wind mask.
Auto Theft
*Sept. 29 -- A man affiliated with the University reported that he secured his vehicle on the 4000 block of Pine Street on Sept. 27. When he returned, he discovered that his red 1992 Plymouth van was missing. The vehicle had a New Jersey license plate with tag number ABJ195. The van is valued at $15,000.
Theft
*Sept. 28 -- A man affiliated with the University reported that between Sept. 20 and Sept. 28, his brown mountain bicycle was taken, along with its lock, off of the bike rack in front of 3817 Spruce St. The bike is valued at $250.
*Sept. 28 -- A man whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that he parked his car at the Penn Tower Garage at 399 S. 34th St. When he returned shortly after 8 a.m., the passenger side door lock was allegedly broken, and a cell phone and charger, as well as six to eight months worth of parking and toll receipts were missing from the vehicle.
*Sept. 26 -- An employee of Nooter Construction Company reported that between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. someone took two toolboxes valued at $2,300 from room 207 of the Leidy Laboratories at 3740 Hamilton Walk.
*Sept. 26 -- A man whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that between Sept. 14 and Sept. 26 someone took $637.50 from a petty cash box in Suite B on the 5th floor of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 3400 Spruce St.
