Campus Crime Report

Burglary

* September 4 -- Members of a construction company working in front of the Quadrangle at 3700 Spruce Street reported that sometime before 6:45 a.m., an unknown person cut the padlock on a construction trailer and removed three generators and assorted tools valued at more than $10,000.

* August 30 -- A man whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that someone broke the deadbolt lock attached to his apartment door and removed a PlayStation valued at $120.

* August 29 -- A man whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that shortly after 8 a.m., an unknown person entered his residence on the 4000 block of Spruce Street and removed assorted clothing and jewelry valued at $4,270. A male witness who lives at the same address described the alleged burglar as an African-American male, approximately six feet tall and between 25 and 35 years of age, of dark complexion and slim build. The alleged burglar was last seen wearing a long blue shirt and blue jeans.

Theft

* September 5 -- A man affiliated with the University reported that at 10 a.m. he left his black American Tourister bag unattended and unsecured in the Evans Building at 4001 Spruce St. When he returned at 11:30 a.m., the bag, which contained assorted papers, computer cables and his car keys, was missing.

* September 4 -- A man affiliated with the University reported that between 9:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. an unknown person took a GM MasterCard and $80 from his wallet, which was in the McNeil Building at 3718 Locust Walk.

* September 4 -- Police reported that while on patrol, they observed 54-year-old Darryl Eggleston removing a 26-inch Ross Pocono bicycle from the bike rack at 3901 Locust Walk with a pair of pliers. Eggleston was arrested and taken into custody.
