Campus Crime Report

Robbery

* July 13 -- A man who is unaffiliated with the University reported that, at about 11:45 p.m., two juveniles approached him while he was walking near 4230 Locust Street. The two juveniles proceeded to punch him in the face, and take his watch. The two juveniles were then stopped near 42nd and Ludlow streets, where they were positively identified by the victim, and arrested.

Theft

* July 17 -- A female University student reported that she confronted a man going through her wallet in the Law School, located at 3400 Chestnut Street. The man took one of her credit cards, and then fled the building.

* July 16 -- Staff at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvanian reported that three bags of money which had been locked in a safe were missing. The bags contained $3,466.40.

* July 14 -- Two male University students reported that, at about 1 p.m., they left their wallets on the side of one of the basketball courts inside Hutchinson Gymnasium, located at 220 South 32nd Street. When the two men retrieved their wallets, $70 in cash and credit cards were missing from one, and $40 in cash and credit cards were missing from the other.

* July 14 -- A female University student reported that, at about 8:30 a.m., she secured her bicycle to a rack on the 3400 block of Spruce Street. When she returned to the location at about 3:30 p.m., the bike, valued at $130, was missing.

* July 13 -- Construction workers working outside of College Hall, located in Levy Park, reported that sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., a power drill valued at $850 was taken from the site.

* July 9 -- University Facilities staff member reported that, between June 19 and July 9, five air conditioners valued together at $3,000 were taken from the Blauhaus, located on 33rd Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets.
