Crime Report

Burglary

* May 15 -- A female University student reported that on May 14, she left a computer scanner secured and unattended inside of Meyerson Hall, located at 210 S. 34th Street. By 5 p.m. the next day, the scanner was missing, and there were signs unknown persons had broken into the area where the scanner was located. The scanner was valued at $120.

Theft

* May 15 -- A male University student reported that, at 6 p.m., he left his wallet unsecured and unattended inside Gimbel Gymnasium, located at 3701 Walnut Street. When he went to retrieve the wallet at 7 p.m., it was missing. The wallet contained identification, credit cards and $100 in cash.

* May 15 -- A male University student reported that on May 14, he left a printer, a package of plastic bags and a roll of tin foil secured and unattended inside a locker in Harrison College House, located at 3910 Irving Street. By May 15 at around 2 p.m., the items -- valued together at $1,000 -- were missing.

* May 14 -- At around 7 p.m., a University police officer noticed a man attempting to remove the registration sticker from a vehicle parked on the 4200 block of Spruce Street. The officer arrested 30-year-old Jerry Lee Moore for the offense.

* May 14 -- A male University student reported that he secured his bicycle outside of the Morgan Building, located at 205 S. 34th Street. When he returned to the location at around 3:30 p.m., the bike -- valued at $650 -- was missing.
