Campus Crime Report

Aggravated Assault * April 19 -- A man affiliated with the University reported that at around 2:45 a.m., an unknown man punched him while he walked on the 3900 block of Irving Street. The victim was bleeding from his face, and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment. William Suffield, 22, was positively identified and arrested in connection with the incident.

Burglary * April 19 -- A female University student reported that between April 18 at 3 a.m. and April 19 at 2:45 a.m. an unknown person entered her room and took her wallet, which contained $50 in cash and a driver's license. The room is located on the second floor of her residence on the 3900 block of Sansom Street.

* April 19 -- A male University student reported that between April 18 at 3 a.m. and April 19 at 12:45 a.m., an unknown person entered his room and took his $4,000 laptop computer. His room is located on the third floor of his residence on the 3900 block of Sansom Street.

Theft * April 20 -- A male University student reported that he left his Palm Pilot unsecured and unattended on April 19 at 5 p.m. in the desk of his second floor office in Steinberg-Dietrich Hall, located at 3620 Locust Walk. When he returned to his office on April 20 at around 9 a.m., the $180 organizer was missing.

* April 18 -- A male University student reported that he parked his secured vehicle on the 4100 block of Woodland Avenue. By the time he returned to the vehicle at 2:15 p.m., the front passenger-side window was broken and a stereo valued at $89 was missing.
