Campus Crime Report

Burglary * April 16 -- A male University staff member reported that between April 14 at 5 p.m. and April 16 at 8 a.m., unknown persons broke into the Ralston House Nursing Home, located at 3615 Chestnut Street, and took a laptop computer and a compact disk player together valued at $3,000.

Theft * April 17 -- A female University staff member reported that eight compact disks, medication and a blanket were taken from her locker between April 16 at around 2 p.m. and April 17 at around 6:30 a.m. The locker was left unsecured inside Williams Hall, located at 255 S. 36th Street.

* April 17 -- A female University staff member reported that she parked her car at 7 a.m. inside garage 7 of the University Museum parking garage, located at the corner of South Street and Convention Avenue. When she returned to the car at around 4:30 p.m., one window was broken and a radio, valued at $250, was missing.

* April 16 -- A woman whose affiliation with the University is unknown reported that $140 was taken from her backpack, which she had left unsecured and unattended at 7:45 a.m. inside of Houston Hall, located at 3417 Spruce Street.

* April 16 -- A male University student reported that, between 11 a.m. on April 15 and 10 p.m. on April 16, his laptop computer was taken from his unsecured dorm room in High Rise East, located at 3820 Locust Walk. The computer was valued at $1,400.

* April 13 -- A female University staff member reported that two credit cards were taken from her wallet, which she left unattended between noon and 9 p.m. in Houston Hall, located at 3417 Spruce Street. Over $5,000 was charged to the cards.

* April 12 -- A female University student reported she left her backpack unsecured and unattended at 10:30 a.m. inside of Vance Hall, located at 3738 Spruce Street. When she retrieved that bag at 12:45 p.m., several credit cards and $55 in cash were missing.

* April 12 -- A female University staff member reported that $170 in cash was taken from her purse. She left the purse unsecured and unattended at around 2 p.m. inside the Nursing Education Building, located at 420 Guardian Drive.

Indecent Exposure * April 13 -- Mark Johnson, 52, was arrested at around 1:30 a.m. for masturbating on the 200 block of 38th Street and then the 100 block of 40th Street.
