Auto Theft * April 10 -- John Little, 19, and Robert Thomas, 31, were arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle and being in possession of cocaine, respectively. The two men were arrested when the stolen vehicle they were driving was in an accident at around 7 p.m. on the 3100 block of Walnut Street. Two other men were in the car at the time of the accident, but fled the scene before police arrived.
Theft * April 11 -- A man was found at around 10 p.m. inside a University-owned truck that was parked on the 3200 block of South Street, allegedly attempting to steal 30 Penn identification cards. Police said Arthur Jones, 47, was arrested in connection with the incident.
* April 11 -- A University alumnus reported that at around 8 p.m. he saw three juveniles taking his $200 bicycle, which he had secured on the 4200 block of Walnut Street. The alleged assailants were chased by the alumnus but not caught.
* April 11 -- A female University student reported that she secured her bicycle at around noon outside the Towne Building, located at 220 S. 33rd Street. When she returned to the location at 1 p.m., the bike, valued at $200, was missing. * April 11 -- A female University student reported that a $60 compact disc player was missing from her vehicle, which she had parked in Garage 30, located at 119 S. 38th Street. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.
* April 10 -- A University staff member reported that an unknown person entered Hill College House, located at 3333 Walnut Street, at around 5:30 p.m., and took three cases of garbage bags. The assailant fled the scene in a light blue vehicle.
