Arson * March 23 -- An employee at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, located at 3400 Spruce Street, reported that at about 5:30 p.m., a patient in the emergency room set fire to a bed while being treated. Isaac Robinson, 34, was arrested.
Theft * March 25 -- A female University student reported that she left her vehicle secured on the 3800 block of Baltimore Avenue at around midnight. When she returned to the vehicle at around 3:30 a.m., the passenger-side rear window was broken, and a cellular phone, compact disc player, clothing and a pair of glasses were missing. The items were valued together at $800.
* March 23 -- A female University student reported that she parked her vehicle at 10 a.m. in a lot located at 119 South 38th Street. When she returned to her vehicle at 4:45 p.m., the car's stereo, valued at $80, was missing, and there were signs of forced entry.
* March 22 -- A female University student reported that she left her bag unattended at about 7:45 p.m. in the Chemistry Building, located at 3301 Spruce Street. She reported that she saw a man grab the bag. The bag contained medicine, a cellular phone and a pair of glasses -- together valued at $380.
