Campus Crime Report

Auto Theft * February 8 -- A man unaffiliated with the University reported that he parked his car on February 5 on the 100 block of South 42nd Street. When he returned to the location on February 8, the car was missing. The car was valued at $17,000.

Theft * February 9 -- A female University student reported that between February 7 and February 9, someone took her credit cards from her locked room in Harrison College House, located at 3910 Irving Street. There was no sign of forced entry into the room. Unauthorized purchases totaling $1,500 were made with the cards.

* February 9 -- A man affiliated with the University reported that a computer he left secured at about 1:15 p.m. in his residence on the 3200 block of Spruce Street was missing when he returned at about 2 p.m. The computer was valued at $2,500.

* February 8 -- A woman whose affiliation with the University was unknown reported that she saw two University students allegedly take a lab scale from the Mudd Biology Building, located at 415 University Avenue. The scale was valued at $400. The two suspects were taken in for questioning, but no arrests were made.

* February 6 -- A female University staff member reported that, on February 6 at about noon, she left her purse in an unlocked desk drawer in Stemmler Hall, located at 3450 Hamilton Walk. When she returned at about 4 p.m., she found $60 in cash missing.
