Theft
* July 13 -- The manager of CVS drugstore, located at 3915 Walnut Street, reported that a Ellioyy Pickney, unaffiliated with the University, allegeldy stole 13 boxes of Excedrin on the same day. Pickney was arrested in connection with the crime.
* July 14 -- The manager of the Game gallery, located at 3931 Walnut Street, reported that two unidentified males entered the store at 11:05 a.m. that day. One man, carring a shotgun, and forced the manager into the back room where he was tied up and gagged. A video game player, several Nintendo games and an unknown amount of money were stolen.
* July 14 -- A woman unaffiliated with the University reported that between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. that same day items had been stolen from her secured vehicle parked at 3208 Chestnut Street. The items stolen were valued at $13,825, and included diamond stud earrings, a diamond necklace, a ring and green Samsonite luggage containing personal belongings as well as plane tickets.
* July 17 -- A male construction worker unaffiliated with the University reported the theft of construction equipment, including a plywood building panel, copper tubing, and a Black and Decker shop vac from 3417 Spruce Street. The items were together valued at $340.
* July 17-- Two computers were reported stolen by a female University staff member. The two laptops, together valued at $6,000, were taken from a secured room in Stemmler Hall located on 3450 Hamilton Walk. It is unknown how entry into the building was gained.
