Robbery
* June 27 -- An employee of the Chinese restaurant at 4251 Walnut Street reported that four males entered, showed him handguns and demanded money at 9:50 p.m. on June 27. A cell phone, $400 cash and Chinese food were taken.
* June 23 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that while walking on the 300 block of South 40th Street at 2:20 a.m. on June 13 an unknown male approached her and demanded her belongings. Her TransPass and cash were taken. No weapons were involved in the incident.
Burglary
* June 23 -- A female student reported that sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. on June 23 someone entered her 3404 Sansom Street residence, dislocating a window screen and removing a Gateway laptop computer, a Hewlett Packard camera and a gold necklace. The value of the items was unknown.
* June 22 -- A male student reported that someone entered his residence at 4995 Baltimore Avenue between 2 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on June 22 and stole a Sony boom box, Panasonic VCR, checkbook and assorted CDs. Together, the items were valued at $1020. There were no signs of forced entry.
Auto Theft
* June 26 -- A male unaffiliated with the University reported that his 1996 grey Chevrolet van of unknown value was stolen while parked at 38th and Baltimore streets at 1:30 p.m. that day. A tool box was inside the van when taken.
Retail Theft
* June 27 -- A female employee of Parfumerie Douglas at 3603 Walnut Street reported that she observed a man take a bottle of Calvin Klein perfume and a bottle of Tommy perfume, together worth $61, at 3:15 p.m. that day.
* June 22 -- A male unaffiliated with the University was arrested after security guards at CVS, located at 3923 Walnut Street, allegedly observed him putting several boxes of medicine in his bag at 7:50 p.m on June 22.
Theft
* June 27 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that $40 was removed from a desk drawer in her secured office, located at 415 South University Avenue, between 5 p.m on June 26 and 6 a.m. on June 27.
* June 25 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that while at the Cinemagic movie theater, located at 3925 Walnut Street, her Nokia cell phone was stolen from her purse around 12:35 a.m. on June 25. The phone was worth $140.
* June 24 -- A male student reported that someone entered his unsecured residence at 225 South 39th Street and took his wallet, with $300 cash, a New Jersey driver's license and a Penn ID card inside, between 6 p.m and 6:20 p.m. on June 24.
* June 24 -- A male student reported that while at Gimbel Gym, at 3701 Walnut Street, around 6 p.m. on June 24, his social security card, Penn ID, credit card, a $500 check and $5 in cash was stolen.
* June 23 -- A female unaffiliated with the University reported that her credit cards, social security card, New York state driver's license and $30 cash were ten from her purse on while at the 100 block of South 30th Street at 3 p.m. on June 22.
* June 22 -- A female staff member reported that her Visa and Macy's credit cards, her PNC bank card and her prescription card were stolen from 140 South 36 Street between 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. on June 21.
Theft from Vehicle
* June 25 -- A male student reported that the rear passenger window to his Plymouth was broken and an air mattress and a Nokia cell phone were taken while it was parked on the 3900 block of Spruce Street between 8:30 p.m on June 24 and 8:40 p.m. on June 25. Together, the items were worth $235.
* June 25 -- A female student reported that the passenger side rear window of her 1994 Honda Accord was broken and a bicycle, a bag of clothing and a phone card was taken from within while the car was parked on the 3900 block of Delancey Street at midnight on June 24. The items were together worth $690.
