Brown M. Hoops coach to resign at end of year Dobbs will leave after the team's final four games, according to Brown Sports Information Director Chris Humm. The Bears are 4-18 this season, including a 2-8 Ivy League record. The 36-year-old Dobbs has compiled a 67-137 record during eight years at Brown. Nonetheless, Brown Athletic Director David Roach praised Dobbs. "Since coming to Brown eight years ago, Frank Dobbs has been a tremendous asset to Brown University, the state of Rhode Island and the Providence community," Roach said in a written statement. "He is an outstanding young man who will always have the support, respect and admiration of those who know him."
