U. graduate injured in off-campus shooting University Police refused to reveal any specific details about the incident last night. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5'10'' and weighing 150 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket and baggy blue jeans at the time of the shooting. According to police records, the assailant shot the victim in the upper left arm with a silver handgun, then fled west on foot along the northern side of Spruce Street. The victim was taken to the Southwest Detectives Bureau for further questioning. The extent of his injuries was unclear last night. Police are still investigating the incident, according to University Police Sergeant Peg O'Malley. -- Bill Klotzbucher
