Dog draws police to Walnut Street About an hour after police responded to the disturbance, the owner walked the dog -- who was bleeding from the mouth -- with police clearing the way, to the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, police said. As police arrived, they blocked off the sidewalk from the Kinko's copy center to Eat At Joe's on Walnut Street. Several of the officers kept their guns pointed at the dog, which was barking loudly and being physically restrained by its owner -- who said he found the dog several days earlier -- throughout the entire incident, which lasted about an hour. -- Laura McClure
